Mutaz Sawwaf
Biography

Mu'taz Sawwaf was born in 1950, and graduated from the American University of Beirut, Class of 74 with a degree in Architectural Engineering. With great perseverance and determination he was able to successfully achieve an extensive network of both private and public projects in the Middle East, and the Gulf.

In 1980, he established Arabian Roots in Jeddah Saudi Arabia, which specializes in Construction and trading in Building materials.

In 1986, with this vast experience under his wing, and with the trust of the Saudi Binladin Group, he entered into a management agreement with them to manage many of their most prestigious and honored Design & Build construction projects in Saudi Arabia and abroad.These projects consisted of major palaces, (5) star hotels, residential complexes, Mosques, Commercial Complexes, and Bridges.

In 2001, he established MIMAR INVEST Company in which he consolidated companies that manufacture, retail and distribute products ranging from Building materials, textile and Food stuff.

With the increasing building material requirements, and obligations towards awarded contracts within the Kingdom and abroad, in 2005, he consolidated all factories that are owned by Saudi Binladin Group and formed the Construction Products Holding Company, (CPC) a holding company with the concept of a "One Stop Shop" facility for all construction needs. Due to its success, similar concepts were developed in Egypt, Syria and UAE, with Algeria, Qatar and India in the near future.

In 2006 he has additionally co-founded BINTEL, which is part of Saudi Binladin Group, specializing in acquiring operating, and GSM licenses in Africa.

With his achievements and continued vision to improve and develop Industrial facilities within the Middle East, he has gained the trust and praise of many.
